The hardware looks fantastic and is glowing!! The neck is clean and straight with a clean fretboard. There are some very light checks or light surface marks in the resonator on the back of the resonator. The banjo also includes an original Gibson hardshell case.ConditionThe banjo is in beautiful shape but there is some light wear. The tone ring and the shell have matching serial numbers which is pictured. The banjo does have 4 new frets which are the first 4 frets. The headstock also has the Gibson logo inlaid with Earl Scruggs on the truss rod cover. The banjo has white binding on each side of the neck and resonator. There are bow ties inlaid on the fretboard. The neck is also maple with a rosewood fretboard. This has a maple resonator and rim with nickel hardware. The banjo is basically a Granada which was modified by the Gibson factory in 1949.
